# Official links and scams

> The only addresses Lance uses, and how to spot an impersonator.

Impersonator bots and fake sites are common in crypto. These are Lance's only official addresses.

Your community's own bot is official when its link comes from your community owner's own channel.

## What we will never do

* Ask for your seed phrase or private key.
* Ask you to sign anything on any website other than `connect.lancetrade.xyz`.
* Ask you to send funds to anyone.

## Check before you sign

* The approval page's address is exactly `connect.lancetrade.xyz`.
* The page names **your** Telegram username before it asks for any signature.
* The signatures it asks for match [Connect your wallet](https://docs.lancetrade.xyz/telegram/connect-wallet.md): a message naming you and the bot, the trading key and the bot fee.

## If something looks wrong

1. Don't sign anything, and close the page.
2. In your bot, open **🔐 Wallet and access**. Tap **Remove access** if you think your access is at risk, and **Sign out everywhere** under **🖥 Devices**.
3. Report it to your community owner and to the [Lance team](https://telegram.me/bhargav2495).
